Welcome to newest incarnation the BEL Clan web site. On this site, you can find all sorts of information about the BEL Clan, including the history of the clan, our constitution (a work in progress), our chain of command, and even a list of members, or at least those who have registered on this newest site.

This site is by no means complete. There is much to be done to produce the look and feel of this site, as well as adding things such as polls, discussion forums and such. However, some of this stuff is dependent upon packages which have not yet been updated to newer versions, as the versions stored in the NetBSD pkgsrc are woefully out of date.

Registration

Please feel free to register for this site. While some of it is visible and can be navigated by anyone via the tabs on the top and the navigation slot on the left side, other material and functionallity requires you to first register with the site. However, there are additional areas which are even more restrictive on who may access them, with access only being granted to members of the clan (or just its leadership), or to certain select individual.

A special note about registering. You will be sent an initial password, and will be asked to change this password upon your first login. This is being done to make sure that you are specifying a valid email address, and is a way of making it more difficult for people to use bots to sign up a large number of bogus users.
